A TIMELESS VOICE
Egyptian American mezzo-soprano Sahar Hassan is a gifted and exciting singer. Her lush and vibrant voice is beautifully enhanced by her innate musical sensitivity. As artistic director of Ladyslipper Ensemble, she strives to bring forgotten chamber works as well as newly commissioned ones to life. Sahar is the recipient of a 2017 Artist Initiative Grant and a 2020 Next Step Fund. The 2018/19season brought the release of her chamber music CD The World's Highway on the Centaur Label.
